Giving is a joyful celebration of God’s generosity to us and a sign of our ongoing dependence on God. Giving is more than monetary donations. We open the doors of our homes for hospitality. We share our tools, our cooking ingredients, our vehicles, our knowledge, our skills, our recreation toys, and our time with the world around us. Through our generosity, we support God's work in our church community and in the world.
Online and Mobile Giving
Most of our financial transactions are now done through our credit-cards or phones. Using the service of tithe.ly (the button below) you can contribute to the church's ministry. You can support the church by using Facebook Pay on our Facebook page. The church can also receive e-transfers for your contributions. Just email gifts@standrewskamloops.com including your address in the message section and any special directions in regard to your gift. Like any envelope gifts or PAR gifts, these electronic donations will be receipted at the end of the year.
Pre-authorized Remittances (PAR)
PAR or Pre-Authorized Remittance is a direct debit program that allows people to support the church through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account. To participate in this plan, an individual must complete an authorization form (see link at the bottom of the page) indicating the amount and distribution of the monthly payment and provide a signed, voided cheque. PAR offering cards will be available to place on the offering plate, signifying your gift to God. You may still use offering envelopes or a plain envelope indicating your name and/or envelope number to make an offering for special appeals or on special occasions. Income tax receipts will be issued in the normal manner.
Offering Plate
During each worship service, we collect an offering. Cash gifts can be made during this time. If you are attending regularly please ask for envelopes, so your gifts can be receipted at the end of the year.
Spending of funds is confined to St. Andrew’s approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by St. Andrew’s Presbyterian, the remaining designated contributions will be used where most needed.
