Some of you may have been wondering how to support the teachers and children of Parkcrest (whose school burned to the ground). Donations can be made to the Kamloops Teacher's Association or through the school district.

Donations can also be made through the church. Simply note "Parkcrest" on any offering envelope, use our website to donate by credit card (choose special gifts on drop-down menu and type "Parkcrest" in the notes) or consider bringing to the church any of the following items (the list has been compiled by Bob and Betty Abbott's daughter Tricia who works at the school):

  • Ikea Poang chairs (adult size--not child-size--this is a correction)
  • Area rug
  • Footstool
  • Costco dog beds (new--for kids to sit in)
  • Board games, card games, crib boards, chess sets
