AGM Reveals Community's Giftedness and Endorses New Initiatives

At our 2017 Annual General Meeting we devoted considerable time to discussing what is working well at St. Andrew's. After listening to the discussion and pouring over the written submissions it is clear that the congregation excells at providing supportive community (both informally and through various groups/activites). The congregation also recognises the great work being done through its outreach activites and Sunday School program.

The 2017 Annual General Meeting also demonstrated that there is room for the Holy Spirit at congregational meetings. Before the 2017 budget was passed two new initiatives came forward from the floor: a working group to decorate the lowerhall with artwork and/or information about church activites (geared at user groups), as well as a plan to rejuvenate the library. Both initiatives were warmly welcomed and provided with financial support in an amended budget.
