During this morning's children's story, I showcased the 'honour roll' of men and women from St. Andrew's who served our nation in times of war (both WW1 and WW2). I also highlighted a Mr. G. H. Farquharson and shared some interesting details about his life and his service.
For those who are interested in these people on our 'honour roll', there are some powerful tools that can help you learn more about them. In particular, Library and Archives Canada hold an extensive collection of records of the Canadian men and women who have served our country. The database can be found here.
Please let me know if you learn something new about any of our members who have served.
